Drew Litzenberger
Operations Director
Drew started his career in the C.I industry in 1990 with Listen up Audio in Boulder, CO and developed a passion for the industry. Relocating to Atlanta in 1994 Drew joined the team at Custom Audio Video Environments and continued to develop his skill set with training and certifications with Crestron, ISF, CEDIA, Lutron and Kaleidescape among others. Drew leads our team with a focus in creating installations of the highest quality and attention to detail. Drew’s 19 years of experience combined with his “take no less than perfect” approach make him the professional he is today.
Robert Kiessling
Field Services
Robert began his A/V career some 25 years ago in New Jersey. A talented musician and educator Robert brings experience from multiple disciplines’ within our industry that make him an asset to our company. Over the years Bob has accumulated training and certification with leading manufactures such as Crestron, B&O, Nakamichi, Denon, McIntosh, ON-Q, Owen Corning and more. Bob’s communication skills coupled with his experience make him a lead contributor to the success of our projects.
Rhett Morgan
Systems Engineer
Rhett entered the C.I channel in 1989 at Custom Audio Video Environments after being recruited from the “mobile” audio division. Since that time Rhett has honed his skill set in every possible area of our industry and now serves as our lead designer, engineer and programmer. All of Design Media’s projects go through Rhett for proper design and engineering. He is responsible for all of our rack drawings, system schematics, programming and communication to our services department. Rhett carries numerous certifications and awards.
Vince Sanders
Principle
Vince started in the A/V industry in 1989 as a partner with Interior Audio Designs, Inc handling many day to day business functions along with sales / system design. IAD grew into one of the prominent custom A/V companies in the Atlanta metro area through 2000. IAD merged with a local competitor in December of 2001 to form Sensory Solutions were Vince served as President through 2004. In mid 2004 Vince had the opportunity to be involved with a new startup in the Lighting Industry and departed Sensory to partner with the Design Lighting Group, LLC as the managing member. Design Lighting experienced rapid growth out of the gate and remains a dominant force in metro Atlanta as the lighting “source” for demanding residential clients, architects and designers. Anxious to get back into the A/V Industry Design Media Group was formed as a sister company of Design Lighting in August 2005. Today the two entities partner on many of Atlanta’s finest residential projects to offer complete integration products and services.
Peter Chakales
Principle
Peter shares many memories of the “old” days in Atlanta were electronic retailers were prominent. After 10 years on the road as a professional drummer with the Bill Sheffield band along with Banks & Shane, Peter started his A/V career on the sales floor of Stereo Village in 1984. Over the years Peter developed a loyal following of regular customers who continued business with him when he joined Hi Fi Buys in 1987 after the closing of Stereo Village. Peter joined Custom Audio Video Environments the “custom” department of Hi Fi Buys in 1990 and began designing and specifying A/V systems for the home. After a 14 year run Peter took the opportunity to join Avyve as the President of the Home Technologies group and served in that role through August of 2005. Peter joined Design Media Group as partner in August 2005 and continues to serve many of his customers from the “old” days. Although retired from the professional circuit Peter still actively plays his drums for several local bands around metropolitan Atlanta.
